Objectives & activities
The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Hutton Henry without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:
(a) Meetings, lectures, and classes, and
(b) Other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.
Hopefully we are now returning to normal life following the pandemic, the Association is up and running and the hall is open for business. Our team of volunteers have undertaken wonderful work during the Covid restrictions, including many improvements to the hall which is looking amazing. I am pleased to say there are many events planned over the next twelve months which will be enjoyed by many and will continue to build the reputation of this building and the village of Hutton Henry.
Due to the Covid restrictions there have been reduced events and bookings for the past two years, thankfully, the Association did receive Covid business support grants totalling £3900.
Funding of £1000 had also been secured from the National Lottery to celebrate their 25-year anniversary, however, this could not be spent due to restrictions. It has therefore been ringfenced to be used to help fund the upcoming Queens Platinum Jubilee, when the Association will be working in partnership with Hutton Henry Parish Council.
