||||||We began the year still restricted<br>in what we|
||||||could deliver due to COVID still being actively|
||||||with us and Government<br>guidelines.<br>This also|
|Summary<br>ofthe main<br>achievements<br>ofthe charity,<br>identifying<br>the difference the<br>charity's<br>work has made to<br>the circumstances<br>of its<br>beneficiaries<br>and any wider<br>benefits to society as a||||Para 1.20|meant that Trustee meetings<br>remained,<br>at the<br>time, online.<br>Despite this KLCF managed<br>to run<br>a sound recruitment<br>process for the school<br>managers<br>role and by February after<br>shortlisting<br>a top three, we were able to offer<br>the role and this was accepted.|

||||||The roadmap<br>out of lockdown<br>meant schools|
||||||and football staggered<br>their restart between|
||||||March and June. It remained<br>a challenging|
||||||time, with restrictions<br>still in place and, in|
||||||some cases, reluctance<br>from people and|
||||||schools to start mixing.<br>Coaches also had a|
||||||staggered<br>return<br>with many remaining<br>part-|
||||||furloughed<br>through<br>first half ofthe year. Some|
||||||good news to come out of 2021was King' s|
||||||Lynn Community<br>Football had been recognised|
||||||as Norfolk County<br>FA Grassroots<br>Club ofthe|
||||||Year. This recognised<br>KLCFfor its work during|
||||||lockdown to continue<br>engaging<br>with its players|
||||||and for its work with disability<br>and walking|
||||||footba II.|
||||||By April we were able to host some holiday|
||||||activities and after school activities within the|
||||||school programme<br>as well as elite football|
||||||training.<br>We were then able to sort out an|
||||||evaluation<br>process for the football squads and|
||||||go into the 2021/22 season ready, with healthy|
||||||numbers<br>across most age groups.<br>Training|
||||||started<br>in August with fixtures now back in full|
||||||flow.|
||||||September<br>saw the ongoing discussion<br>with|
||||||Alive West Norfolk finalised<br>and a transfer date|
||||||for King's Lynn Community<br>Football delivery|
||||||programmes<br>to come under the Alive West|
||||||Norfolk was set for 1"October 2021. The|
||||||move allowed for additional<br>support<br>and|
||||||security and has been a positive move for the|
||||||growth ofthe community<br>and school|
||||||programmes.<br>We were able to start the|
||||||2021/22 season and academic year with a|
||||||spring<br>in our step with the football programme|
||||||ac<br>in<br>u<br>ow inclu<br>ing its games|
||||||programme.<br>The school programme<br>followed,|
||||||now able to offer its full complement<br>of|
||||||activities with most schools keen to restart.|





|Through<br>Alive West Norfolk, the programmes||
|---|---|
|have been able to recruit several additional||
|activity leaders to support<br>holiday clubs and||
|weekend<br>parties.<br>There was some turnover of||
|evening coaches within the elite programme|as|
|people's jobs and circumstances<br>changed<br>but||
|the programmes<br>finished 2021 in a positive||
|place and looking to continue<br>making||
|improvements<br>going into 2022.||
|With the takeover of Kings Lynn Community||
|Football deliver programmes<br>by Alive West||
|Norfolk,<br>it has led to a change offocus for the||
|charity and Trustees.<br>The role offootball||
|development<br>now falls within the new||
|structure. Therefore, the Trustees are looking||
|to amend the aims ofthe charity to reflect this||
|with a focus on ensuring<br>that KLCF can||
|continue to support the development<br>of||
|physical education<br>S.social development<br>of||
|children 5young people,<br>in West Norfolk 5,the||
|surrounding<br>areas.||
|The committee<br>will continue to support the||
|football development<br>plans that Alive West||
|Norfolk work towards, as well as considering||
|opportunities<br>for future fundraising,<br>to ensure||
|the sustainability<br>of local, grassroots<br>sport and||
|it's wider development.||
