Our flnances are healthy. and we support the Shrlne wlth donatlons when appeals are asked for, and we always make a dowion when Tht Bo on pllgrimage. Last year we gave £IiXKI towards the Shrlne'5 new or8an. Our meetlngs are open to members and non-members. and it is k>vely to have non-members loin us on our fund-raising events. Each year we pay for 5 chlldren to BO to the Youth Pi18rlma8e. Last year l organised a Breakfast & Tabltrtop sale, whlch tumed out to be a great success. I dld invite the other organisations to Join in, and the Gulld of S. Raphael klndly Joined u5. Donations are alway5 gratefulty recei¥d. 12-14 people go to the Chrlsm Mass each year- malnly Cell nxmbers; and approx. 16 Cell members go to the annual plrlma8e to Ladyewell. February 2025 - AGM Discussion held about whether or not thff¢ should be changes lo Pie & Peas and the Contin1 non-spend of our donated money. A decision was tsken to make available a list of those we pray for but who are not on the pew sheet to be read out at our Eucharists, to ensure everyone who has askal for prayer is illch. (ChrAStian names only to uphold nfidentiality). An update on the review of our publications wa8 given. A plea for more pewile to assist with Laying on of Hands mad March 2025 - No m¢eting as il clashal with the SffVA¢¢ for Annunciatio Aprll 2025 Dot and Maureen were thanked for rcceiving the Guild's oils at the Chrtsm Mass. Free Easter cards for those on our prnyff list had been well relly. We receiv some re8pon8e cards from ttcipients in appreciation. MAY 2025 On 10 May we held our day trip S1T¢. Thig was a 81 succe88 and the weather wa8 wonderfvl. This was a very enjoyable event and our table raised £55 wbith was split between Guild fimds and the SUMM Fair. Agreement was given to pay for a cawcK costing £477.60 from our aCC4)UDt. However. it is crucial for the effectiveness of what the Guild is tyAng to achieve that I re1Ve constant up dates on all those we are praying for in order to keep our list accurate. This also lieS on the CO•ion of Clergy and Congregatio not just Guild Memb5. &8 thcre have been unfortunat¢ instanLw when I have only found out inforn]ation very lat4 which reflects badly oo th¢ Guild and on th¢ thurch in gfflffal. No meeting in December 2025 I took the dwision to combine the subsidy fund (raffle income) into the rnain account as it would be unfair to subsidxse a coach when only 8 Membe now come on coach trips. At 31.12,25 there was a balance of £371.09 in hand. This has been put to banking. £750 wa5 banked earlier in the year. This makes a totsl of £1121.09 for the Guild's annual donation to church funds. This is particularly plea8in8 given that there was only one ¢oach trip. not th¢ usual two. this year and th¢re were no monthly meetings on three OCCL8ions. An agreement has been rnade that all available money in the Guild's account Gqn be used towards replacing the boilers and heating sygtetn. We stRrt 2026 with a retsineAI carry forward float of £140.41. The purpo8¢ of this group is to offer Prayerful Ministy and but all funds we do raise in the process of our activities are donat to th¢ church g¢neral fimd to be spen¢ after awen¢ on items the church needs. 2025 was a ¢hallengin8 yaqr and w¢ sadly108t several manbers and othm who Support the Guild. We also now have voice on the PCC. Mernbership and attend8nr£ at rneetings ranain relatively similar to 2024. It is heartening to know that our prayer5 are aFvreciated by those who have asked for is evidencal from feedback and ¢ards we r¢ceive. Our service is also usal by the wider o)mmunity> pafiicularly by those who would like prayer but do not want to be ded to the church's pew she¢t and as such valuable outreach 15 provided.
