The trustees presenl their report with the financial slatements of the charity for the year ended 31 January 2025. The

ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Major actlvltles and achlevèments
Having taken over the operations of the Hub through the community asset transfer in November 2013 the year to 31
January 2025 was another year of consolidation and development of the facilities.
The 8POrts clubs are all very dlfferenl in thelr scale, ambitions and operatlon, perfoming at dlfferent18vels and diff8r8nt
8tage8 of their development.
Football
Between F8bwary 12024, and January 31 2025, the Holford Drive Community Sports Hub's gra88 Pltches hosted ten
football teams. The88 le8ms includ8d'. one team competing at Level 5 of th8 FA pyramid, two teams participatlng in the
Christian L8agLse, one college team, one veterans team, four junior teams {U8, Ug, U10 and U11), one s¢hool team, and
one youth team.
The proposed r8Structuring for the 202412025 season Included the addition of two team8, Wlth 8 Ladles team being one of
the options, However, the plan was ultlmately postponed due to the damage sustslned by one of the adult-slzed pllches,
by Iha Black Crow8.
The Football A880clatlon IFA) 8eason commences In August and conclude8 In May annually.
Th8 annual ground malntenanc8 8chedule, encompa88ing 8carification, fertili8ation, 8eeding, and con818t8nt mowing,18
scheduled to commence In June and July.
The off-88a8on communlly footb811 tournamént, featuring three African dla8pora8 from Gambla, Cameroon, and Nlgerl8,
wa$ succe88fully 8xecut8d wlth a large conling8nl of sp8Ctator8.
Communlty, Schoo18, Small-slded and Recreatlonal foolball actlvltle8 are Scheduled to occur on the Muga.
Boxlng
Aston ABC contlnued to build on la8t year8 8ucce88es, doubllng the number of contest8 from the pr6vlou8 year lo over
200 competltlve conte8t8.
The annual dinner 8how wa8 a great success at the Aston Vllla Holte Sulte, along wlth four communlty 8how8 at the
Colllngwood Cantré.
Aftar a change In Mldland coachlng the FLAG 8quad w88 Put to the side a$ It was felt female boxing Should take place
under the Mldland8 8quad banner wilh squad8 continuing at A8ton ABC along with the regular Mldland male squads.
Cla88e8 contlnue to grow In number with an Increa88 In coach numbers to cope a8 well a8 a number of Level 1 coaches
pa88ing their Level 2 cour8e8.

We have grown in membership thls year from 57 in 2024 to 83 In 2025.
We have partnered with 8 olher clubs around the Couniry for partn8r8hlps and tours:

Stratford TTC
We have had 2 Social events Ihis year with Fu8lon TTC. We took 40 of our memb8r8 lo their Club in London for the
weekend and particlpaled in frlendly competition. We 8180 hosted an end of year event for over So members at the Hub.
Thi8 year, we ent8r8d 5 Team8 in the Birmingham, Sollhull and District Table Tenn18 League. We achleved excellent
re8ulls from all players. 2 Teams achleved promotion (B and E Teams)
We had a Total of 31 Player3 playing the League. Thi5 IS the most we have ever had, and th18 makes us one of the blggest
participating Clubs in the whole of the League.
W8 also entered th8 Summer League, and this has just finished. Again, we had a record numb8r of 6 Teams entered thi8
year. Our D Team won thelr divislon and 811 the remaining Teams played excellent and finished 4th and 5th in their r88P8clive
Dlv181on8.
Our Coaches were Invlted to support the Introductlon of a Plng Pong Parlour In Sutton Coldfleld'8 Gr8C8church Shopplng
Centre. Steve and Jullet Bertle have been Coa¢hSng Interested publlc throughoul thls Summer.
Ju118t has lel the way 88 8he wa8 selected by Table Tenn18 England for the She Coache8 programme. She Is also worklng
wlth the Elite Performance Team of Table Tenn18 England. She 1$ also continulng 88 8 Wom8n's and girl$, Ambassador.
Jullet a180 encouraged Female Club members lo apply for Sporting Equals Future Female Leaders programme, that
empowers Ethnically Dlvérse women in gaining Coaching qualifications and support. 3 member8 were involved wlth 2
completing th8 programme.
The Club has throughout th18 year arranged for members to 8tt8nd Tourn8m8nts at all levels of ablllty wlth extremely
promlslng succe88. 7 members have won Tllle8 and trophies over th18 last 88a80n. M8ny repeatad 8u¢ce88e8 In several
Tournaments,
Steve18 8tlll an acllva mamber of the BSDTTA Management Commlttee. He has been Instrumental In the identification
and fomiatlon of the Premier League8, Central venue both last $8a80n and th18 upcomlng Se880n.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Total income for th8 year was £144,658 (2024.. £80,529) of which £56,322 was unrestricted {2024.' £37,872) and £88,338
was restricted (2024 £22,657).
Total funds carried fomard at the year end were £118,130 (2024.. £75,090) of which £42,296 was unrestricted (2024
£35,238) and £73,834 were restricted12024'. £39,852).
Rlsk management
The trustees have identlfied certain risks to which the charity is exposed as part of their responsibilit188 as truste88
running thé charity. The main rfsks identified relate to Health and Safety issues. The tru8lees have a general Health and
Safety policy in place which is slrlctly followed.

After making appropriate enquiries, Ihe trustees have 8 reasonable expedation that the charity has adequale reBoU￿83
to continue in op8r8tional exlstence for the foreseeable future. For this reason they contlnue to adopl the going concern

Th8 Iruslees have reviewed the ch8rity'8 ￿quIrementS for reserve8. This 18 completed on an annual ba81s. The general
reserves are requlred for worklng capital purpo8e8. Th8 general reseNes stood at £42,296 at 31 January 2025 {2024'.
