Since 2013 the Charity has been able to maintain significant and satisfactory income in excess of expenditure brought about by stringent expenditure controls and good management. It was essential that, notwithstanding the satisfactory financial position, the Trust maintained its standards and levels of operation for the benefit of those for whom it was created. The Trust is satisfied that this has been done, as has been evidenced by the many acknowledgments of thanks and appreciation reiVed throughout the year from its users of all ages and levels of disadvantage. The "Ladybirrf is regularly inspected by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and has been given a wholly satisfactory clearance in terms of both the structural and technical integrity of the boat and its equipment and the recruitment, operation and training of its crew.
