**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE EDUCATION OF OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED FROM FULL TIME WORK, BY ALL MEANS INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.

**Activities:** Our U3A is a self-help educational movement for older people no longer in full-time work. We have a programme of monthly meetings with a speaker , planned a year in advance to give a range and balance of topics. We have 39 self sufficient Interest Groups  where members  pursue learning for enjoyment over a wide spectrum of themes. We publish a 3 page newsletter monthly to keep members informed
