Your Space Create has given our people thè opportunity to perform original creative material to
family, friends and the wlder communlty at varlous events throughout the year. It has helped our
young people grow In confldence and given them new opportunities that they have embraced
and enjoyed.
Your Space continues to work with varfous partner agencles and schools to advocate for the
wellbelng of young people with Autism and related conditlons Wrexham and surrounding
areas. Including community events for World Autism Day Invltlng our patrons, other agencles
and our famllles to come together.
We continue to encourage familie5 to come together socially through our family swim nights,
pizza parties, Christmas panto and varlous comrnunlty fundraising events. Thls offer tamllles
the chance to meet In a relaxed and non-judgemental environment, reducing isolation for
parent5 and children allke.
We now support 6 members of 5taffwho have a diagnosis ofAutlsm and reLated conditlons. We
provlde a supportlve and adaptable work environment where people can thrlve, learn thelr
strengths and grow in confldence. One of these staff members, who has Ilved experlence, has
been golng into schoolslcollegeslunlversltles, givlng talks about his life with Autism to raise
awareness and acceptance for those that are neurodlverse and promote Your Space to a wldei
8udlence.
Our Outreach Team and Counselling Service have contlnued to see a demand for referrals to
this seNice, We have contlnued to provlde parent drop-ins weekly in person and online as well
as structured activities and various training and information sharing sessions. Your Space
continues to make strong Ilnks wlth the Local communlty.

It is the policy of the charlty that unrestrlcted funds whlch have not been designated for
speclflc use should be malntalned al a level equtvalent to between three- and six-monlh's
expenditure. The Trustees consider that reserves at thls level wlll ensure that, in the event ol
a significant drop In lundln& theywlll be able to contlnue the charltys current attlvities while
consideration is given to ways in which addltionalfvnds may be ralsed

The Trustees have assessed the major rlsks to which the charity is exposed and are satisfied
that system5 are in place to mitigate exposure to the major risk5.

l Accounting Policies
Your Space (Narchesl Limlted is a prlvate company Ilrnlted by guarantee, In¢orpor8ted in England and
Wales. The registered offlce Is Llay Parl¢ Resource Centre, Fifth Avenue, Wrexham, LL12 OSA.
1.1 Accounting Conventlon
The accounts have been prepared in accordance wlth the charlty's governlng documents, the Companles
Act 200e and "Accountlng and Reportlng by Charltles: Statement of Recommended Practlce appllcable to
charities preparlng their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting standard applicable In the
UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021" las amended for accountlng perfods commenclng from 1st January
20161. The charity is a Public Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
The flnanclal statements are prepared In sterllng, which is the f unctional currency of the charlty. Monetary
amounts In these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.
The flnanclal statements are prepared under the historical cost conventlon. The prfnclpal accountlng
pollcles adopted are set out below.
1.2 Charltable Funds
Unrestrlcted f unds are available for use at the discretion of the Trustees in furtherence of their charitable
objectives unless the funds have been designated for other purposes.
Restricted funds are subject to speclflc condltlons by donors as to hDW they may be used. The purposes
anci uses of the restticted funds are set out in the notes to the f inancial statements.
1.3 Incomlng Resources
Income is recognised when the charity is legally entitled to it, after any perfomiance conditions have been
met, the amounts can be measured rellably and It Is probable that Income will be recelved.
Cash donations are recognised on recelpt. Other donatlons are recognised once the charlty has been
notlfled of the donatlon unless performance condltions require deferral of the amount. Income tax
recoverable In reLatlon to donatlons received under Gift Aid of deeds of covenant is recognised at the tlme
of the donation.
1.4 Resources Expended
Expenditure Is accounted for on and accruals basls and Is allocated to the respective activity. It Is not
practlcal to allocate support costs to the activlties.
1.5 TanObie FixedAssets
Tan(Ible fixed assets are initially measured at cost and subsequently measured at cost orvaluation, net of
depreciation and any Impalrment losses,
Depreclatlon Is recognised so as to write off the cost or valuation of assets less their residual values over
thelr useful Ilves on the followlng bas15:
