children safe. in school and learning. The Foundaiion donaied £554.748 (2022.. £373.666l as part of lis
partnership wilh the charity. which ended July 2023.

with Street Child.
Through thhs partnership, Allen & Overy LLP and ihe Foundaiion hav¢ supwrta th¢ cnrolmeni of
1.500 girls {ID¢luding 244 teenage moihers) inio secondary school. provided support with school
uniforms and learning materials. as ivell as baby fom)tsla so families can provide childc8re_ The girls,
families, I,(KM) in toral, have received bllsiness granls and iraining so they can afford ihe ongoing cosis
of iheir education. In the first year of the PTogramme. 97.8•/• were able to sei aside savings at largel
levels. meaning all 750 girls supp)rted were able io ￿%￿r01 for ihe nexl arademic year despile no
longa r¢ttiving comprehensive suppjrt.
A pjrtion ofihe money raised has funded t¢3chins and learning maierials for 40 rural primary Schools,
as wcll a5 training for 160 reachers io improve foundaiional literd¢y and numeracy. This iTainin£
benefitted 2.654 children in the Iirsl year. wilh over 84/0 passing the naiional primary school ¢xam.
As Ihe fundraising iarget for the pannership wilh Sw¢ei Child was surpassed. support was also provided
to 2,000 rural families wilh income gffieraiing iniliaiive5 in rh¢ form of seed loans. These are paid back
%VLth inieresi, and the profils are used to fund ieacher5' salaries and other as￿laled costs uniil a school
