The object of Break it Down (“BID”) is:
To help young people through leisure time activities, particularly through the teaching of the dance form known as breaking and its associated culture, art and music so as to develop their skills, capacities, and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.

Trustees’ Annual Report
The CIO was incorporated on the 09.09.2013. There have been no changes for the financial period ending 05.04.2023, and no resignations or new appointments.
Activity was effectively suspended during due to insufficient funds to deliver activities. No activity was conducted.
The Trustees have had due regard to relevant Guidance issued by the Charity Commission, to include Guidance on Public Benefit.
BID delivered a number of successful projects between 2016-2017 summarised in the previous report. BID intends to maintain its existence to deliver projects in the future in a similar manner. The goal continues to be the establishment of a regular drop-in weekly dance session at a stable venue.
Following incorporation on 09.09.2013 the Trustees resolved to ensure that there was a long term plan to ensure that the CIO did not rely on any limited company to the detriment of its overall objectives.

No active accounts. The closure of the HSBS account may result in a credit due to the charity but this had not been redeemed.
