Throughout the year we have had fundraising events via Christmas tree
festival in our local church and a few collections al the local
supermarkets.
A Christmas Fate was also held as we hired a local hall and sold Items
donated over the year by the public who support our charity.

volunteers. Every penny we raise goes direct lo helping the charity meet
its aims.

appropriate Officers are similarly appointed.

We work and share information with other Cal rescue charities within our
area and help with the rescue and re homing of catslkittens.
We have a very strong relationship with local veterinary practices in the
area, we help them when they have kittens handed in and cats that have
been abandoned.
The main risks for the charity will be any shortfall in income and the
reduction of volunteer help throughout the year.

Cats and kittens rescued. Veterinary Irealmenl sought for general care of
rescued cats, along with neutering, chipping and vaccination where
appropriate. Food supplied lo help feral colonies. Homes found for
rescued cats Feral cats returned lo colonies bul after neutering.
Education through newsleller, website, Facebook and Inslagram, leaflets,
stalls etc.

C.A_T.S would like to purchase land to build a small dwelling with Cat
shelters and cabins ￿￿th heating to have better facilities for the cats within
our care.

The main expense (approx 79Qh) relates to veterinary care and
treatment, with cat food & litter expenditure about 6% of costs. The
remaining costs are fund-raising expenses which makes up about
15% of income (fund-raising events include fetes. slalls, raffles,
tombolas, and street collections), and miscellaneous rtems Ihat include
the provision of leafiets. newsletters and general educational material.
The largest income about 66 % was from donations and events
income was around 23%.
The educational message, particularly the need to neuter cats, not only
for the benefrt of the public but to the cat populatson, is foremost on our
mind.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity (llhe Trust") for the year ended
Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees. you are responsible for the preparalion of the
accounts in accordan￿ wrth the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
('the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusvs accourrts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5}(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confinn that no material matters have
examinerfs statement come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
dis¢losed below") which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
the accounting records w￿re not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charrties Act- or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records,. or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
conceming the fonn and content of accounts set OLrt in the Charities
