Its aim is to enable both<br>Nabugabo<br>and<br>the<br>surrounding<br>communites<br>to<br>become<br>as<br>selfsufcient as possible. The actvites<br>currently, and proposed, to be carried<br>out by the charity for the public beneft<br>can be broadly characterised into the<br>following groups of programmes:<br>Educaton, which includes providing<br>free educaton to vulnerable and<br>disadvantaged children who would<br>otherwise not be able to atend<br>primary<br>school.<br>Additonally,<br>provision of funding for primary<br>school leavers to atend the local<br>secondary school. Health and well-<br>being, which includes advice and help<br>on nutriton, water supply and<br>sanitaton.<br>Protecton and Welfare including the<br>promoton of equal opportunites and<br>diversity<br>focussing<br>especially<br>on<br>female equality.<br>Sustainable<br>Communites<br>which<br>includes<br>provision<br>of<br>recycling<br>facilites and the preservaton of the<br>natural environment within the Lake<br>Nabugabo RAMSAR site.|The HUGE Partnership undertakes<br>charitable<br>funding<br>to<br>promote<br>educaton in Uganda. Funded the operatonal expenses of<br>running the primary school which<br>totals 135 children, 13 teachers and<br>staf. The charity covered the payment<br>of teachers' salaries, provision of<br>resources to operate the academic and<br>sportng functons of the school as well<br>feeding children and staf breakfast<br>and lunch during term tme.<br>2. Achieved 100% success rate at the<br>Primary Leavers Exam (PLE) ensuring<br>that all leavers were able to atend<br>secondary school in 2023.<br>3. Funded the school fees of 30 primary<br>school leavers (Sl &S2) at the local<br>secondary school.<br>4. Developed a house for a needy family<br>(which included two pupils of the<br>school) who had been evicted by their<br>landlord and were living rough.<br>5. Developed an additonal safe house at<br>school for more senior girls who were<br>facing serious difcultes living at home<br>or with foster arents.|
