Chairmans Report 2024
A disappointing year due to lack of information covering locations prioritised by us as environmentally important.
Establishing ACWT in 2013 was a positive decision and the trusts success has ensured documentation is available following their two surveys 2014/2018 confirming the importance of the flora and fauna at this location.
As the chairman and together with colleagues we are concerned as a charity, although we have proven the importance of this site and ensured evidence is available, we are unable to continue with our work due to the lack of information following the councils consultancy results in October 2023.
While as a trust we are supportive of some house building we are concerned to loose land that is environmentally important is not the way forward for the current community and the young people in the future.
We are calling a meeting to discuss our way forward and the future of ACWT
