ACTIVITIES INCLUDE RHYMETIME FOR TODDLERS AND PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN, A LOCAL SEWING GROUP, 3 LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOLS ATTENDING EVERY MONDAY WE SELL BOOKS,AND CARDS, TEA AND COFFEE PHOTOCOPYING,LAMINATING WE HAVE SIGNED UP OVER 900 MEMBERS WITH LIBRARY CARDS EXCLUSIVE TO THIS LIBRARY.RAISED MONEY FROM OUR HOT DRINKS,USED BOOK SALES WE RECEIVED COMMUNITY FUNDING FROM GATESHEAD COUNCIL.

Objects: To Advance Education By The Provision Of A Library Facility And Service And Other Educational Community Resources And Activities For Winlaton Inhabitants And The Surrounding Areas. To Further Benefit The Said Inhabitants Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political Religious Or Any Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.
