Governing Document
Crossover Brighton is a charitable incorporated organisation registered on August 20th 2013
Crossover’s constitution was signed on April 15th 2013.
Trustees are appointed by the managing director with the approval of the remaining trustees.
Crossover Brighton maintains a memorandum of understanding with Holmsted Manor signed on January 31st 2019 for the storage of vehicles and the use of storage facilities and office space with the charity.
Our Aims and Objectives:
Purposes and Aims
Our charity’s purpose as set out in the charity constitution are to:
“To reach and provide practical support to the homeless, street community, and the poor in and around Brighton and Hove in order to alleviate suffering without discrimination.”
Main Activities
Crossover Brighton provides the only hot breakfast service to the homeless and vulnerably housed community with Brighton and Hove. This happens every weekend year round on Saturdays and Sundays. Using the catering van to transport, cook, and serve food, the charity happens “on the street”.
Achievements and Performance:
Crossover served every weekend day this year up to and including the last weekend of August 2024 at which point the charity temporarily stopped its service to seek a new location for its headquarters and rebuild the volunteer base.

Our reserves policy is £2,700 or approximately 3 months budget.
Funds in Deficit
Crossover Brighton does not have any funds in deficit.
Principle Source of Funds
Fundraising primarily through applications to grant-making organisations with a one-off legacy gift from an individual in Brighton.
