4: Treasurer’s report 2023/2024

Numbers
The introduction of the Govt working parents funding for 2yr olds has resulted in a big increase in our numbers, with all 22 places being filled and more waiting for a place. Places from September 2025 are also all filled.
Fundraising
The very poor weather at the Somerleyton Primary school fete meant takings were down this year at £340.
The Christmas performance raffle raised £306
Major purchases
We have received £1000 from the Disability Access fund. Resources & equipment has been purchased to benefit the child in question including a large sensory water table & a more accessible painting easel.
Visits & Activities
We had 6 sessions at Forest school this year. We also visited Carlton Marshes & Thrigby Hall

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 01/09/2024 .
Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
