**Activities:** ASAP empowers proactive women and youth in marginalised, rural South African communities to sustainably alleviate poverty by meeting the basic human needs of orphans and vulnerable children, developing community based organisations, training in financial literacy, developing enterprising food gardens and ending gender-based violence through activism, access to justice and victim support.
