Whilst th8 core activity of the charity remains based on the principles of the Sikh lailh, the aim is to make an
impact lo the global society we live in. Given the existing worldwide reach and remit through the Charity's
8clivities focused on music, art and poetry, this artistic content continues to aid various demographic groups

Extending reach within local communities:
In addition lo the Shabad releases, Sin￿ the start of 2019, the Charity has corFlinued lo extend ils focus to aid
the most vulnerable members of society. Through ils existing support network ol high caliber artists, producers
and writers, the art15tic content produced is becoming increasingly weighted towards those who are suffering
with mental health issues as well as prornoling wellbeing and rnindfulness.
An exatnple of which is the weekly research I study forum that started in 2019, which has continued to go Irorn
strength to Stiength. The aim of this interactive group is lor open minded individuals to attend and gel closer to
Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and their divine teachings in the form ol Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
The forum is a 2-hour study session open to people of all aues and backgrounds. Attendees will often request a
topic to be discussed in advance and then the Charity volunteers will facilitate how Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
helps to understand that topic and 8ddie5s these challenges in modern society.
A framework has been created by the charity which enables the sessions lo run throughout the year and across
traditional cultural boundaries. In Q2 2023, the study group expanded its reach on an international scale where the
Charity volunteers were requested to host a gmup se$s￿rn in Vienna, Austria over a 2-day period. With allendance
of over 300 delegates over the 2 days, it is 18assuring to see the Charity's work supporting society across
geographical boundaries.
Therè are currently plans to extend this further across other European cities during late 2024 12025 due lo public
demand.
On a more local level due lo the demand from Ihe local communities. the sessions were extended lo run twice per
week. To date, over 250 different p8rticipants have attended the study forum.
As demand continues to prosper, the charity will continue lo host and facililale th8 twice weekly forums along
with our other proje¢t$. Should the delegate numbers continue lo increase week on week. the Charity may
decide to further incre85e the frequency and has plans and capacity to support the demand as needed.
The Charity h85 also begun lo work on tailoring their work to the needs of diffeienl demographics in society to
ensure everyone call be a beneficiary ol the charities, work. 11 Started a class in the local Gurdwara known as
'Japji
Memorize,. The aim of this projgcl is to help young children memorize th8 writings ol Guru Nanak Dev Ji, which
will help them to dive deeper into th8 core of Sikhi and understand what is being written in the Japji Sahib. This
will enable this divine knowledge lo be passed onlo the children in the lulure and onsure that the teachings of our
Guius continue to benefit the community.
Several tnore projects lo Support local communities have also been identified. These will be ieviewed and
priorilized based on the need that arises. This will enable the charity to allocate resources accordingly whi181
ensuring the core mission and charity aims are not compromised,. and provide an opportunity for the Charity lo

Summary of achievements and outlook going forward:
Demand for the Charity's seNices has continued to go from strength to strength over the past 12 month5 Wlth
another strong year of r81eases backed up by the 19m+ YouTube views on the selection ol the 22 releases
detailed above to date. This reinforces the glob81 leach of the work conducted by the Charity and the mass
audiences that are being reached by its continued work.
However, the extended focus by the Charity lo also aid the Most vulnerable members of So￿etY through its work
on promoting wellbeing and mindfulness is a key are8 of growth. The demand for ils services in this aiea has
become a reality through the study fortns which are now taking pla￿ on an inlem8bonal scale.
In March of 2024, the members of the charity went out lo an evenl at the prestigious Birmingham Symphony Hall
and had worked together to pul on an event in which the message of the Gurus was broadcasted lo a sold-out
crowd oljust over 2000 people. The perfoirnance included the vibrant use of Bhangra dOn￿rS, combined with the
use of modern musical sounds to educate the future generation8 on the message of our Gurus through Ihg sound
of music. The perforrnance concluded with a standing ovation from th8 aiena as Ihey dernonstrated their support
for the pertomers.
The growing So￿*1 issues in modem Societies have meant that communities look for new support mechanisms as
we go about our daily lives. This is evident in the increase in traffic
Charity has seen its social media platforms over the past 24 months in cotnparison to previous years. As we move
into an increasing digital era and given the increase in demand for digital support services, the Trustees envisage
the demand for the Charity's services will continue to glow exponentia11y
All volunteers are continuing to donate their time and effort lo the cause
which is reinfOr￿d by a Ovo salary bill being deducted lor their work.
Dharam Seva Records is well placed to continue building on the success of previous years with an increased
focus on supporting local communities lo meet the increasin9 demands of modern soeiety.

The trustees present their report with the financi81 statetnents of the charity for the year ended 30 September 2023. The
trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Slalement of Recommended Practice
applicable to chaiities preparing their 8ccount5 in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the
UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective 1 January 20191.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

The COVID-19 pandemic brought Unpre￿dented events around the globe,. yel the demand for access to digital support
services has never been greater.
Demand for the Charily's serviTrs has continued lo go from strength lo strenglh over the past 12 months with another
strong year ol releases backed up by the 19m+ YouTube views on the selection of th8 22 releases detailed
above to date. This reinforces the global reach of the work conducted by the Chaiily and the mass audiences that are
being reached by ils continued work.
However, it is clear that the extended focLJS by the Charity to also aid the most vulnerable member8 of society through
its Work on promoting wellbeing arid mindfulness is 8 key area ol giowth. The demand for its services in this area has
becom8 a realily Ihrough the study foiums which are now taking place on an inlernalional scale.

Basis on preparing the financial statements
The financial statements of the charity, which is a public benefit entlty undèr FRS 102, have be8n pr8par8d in
accordance with the Charities SORP IFRS 1021 'Aceounling and Reporting by Charities.. Slalemenl of
Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting
Standard applicable in the UK and Republic ol Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective 1 January 20191,, Financial
Reporting Standard 102'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland, and th8
Charities Act 2011. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
Income
