The Grantham Community have also been able to get a buildlng to use as thdr community ontre and are trying to complete the Initial phase to enable the buildlng for Its Intended Use. FINANCZAL REVIEW Some of sword branch's reseNe brought forward were used to fijnd the repairs and mainlenance in respert of the ￿ace of worship as Mentb￿ed above. Page 3 ## **GRANTHAM MUSLIM COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION** ## **CHARITY NUMBER: 1153394** ## **TRUSTEES' ANNUAL REPORT** ## **YEAR ENDED 5 APRIL 2024** ## **REPORT OF THE INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS TO THE TRUSTEES OF GRANTHAM MUSLIM COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION** I report on the financial statements of the Charity for the year ended 5 April 2024 which comprise the Income and Expenditure Accounts and Balance Sheet. ## **Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner** As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements; you consider that the audit requirement of section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 ('the Act') does not apply. It is my responsibility to state, on the basis of procedures in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners under section 43(7)(b) of the Act, whether particular matters have come to my attention. ## **Basis of independent examiner's report** My examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the financial statements presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items and disclosures in the financial statements and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters.
