The day-to48y managemenl of the charity is provided by the CEO, John Denny, and the colleague team.
The charlty has a Board of Trustees which meets regularly and is responslble for the strategic direction and policy of
the charity. At present the Board comprisès the four trustees.
Members of the Charity guarantee to contrlbute an amount not exceedlng £1 to the assets of the charity In the event
of viinding up.

1.1 Accountlng convontlon
The flnancial statements have been prepared In accordance with the charivs goveming documents, the
Companies Act 2006, FRS 102 The Finonci81 Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland. {"FRS 102.) and the Ch8riti8s SORP "Accountlng and Reporting by Charitles: Statement of
Recommended Practice applicable to charitie8 preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republ1¢ of Ireland (FRS 1021. leffectiva 1 January 2019). The
charity is a Public Benefit Entity a8 definad by FRS 102.
The charlty has taken advantage of the provlslons in the SORP for chariUes not lo prepare a Ststement of
Cash Flows.
The flnanclal statements are prepared In slerllng. whl¢h Is th8 functlonal currency of the charlty. Monetary
amount8 In these financlal statements are rounded to the nearest £.
The financial statements have been prepared under tho hi8torical cost convéntion, modified to includ8 the
revaluatlon of freehold propertles and to In¢lude Inve8tment propertle8 and certain financial instruments at fair
value. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.
1.2 Golng ¢oncern
At the time of approving th6 financlal Statements, the trustee8 have a reasonable expectatlon that the charfty
has adequate resources to continu• in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the trustee8
ontlnue to adopt the golng concem ba$18 ol a¢countlng in preparing the financial ststements.
1.3 Charltable funds
Unrestrfcted funds are avallable for use at the dlscretion of the trustees in furtheranca of their charltable
objectives.
Restrlcted funds are subject to specffic condltlons by donors or grantors as to how they may be used. The
purposes and uses of the restricted funds are set out In the notes to the financlal statements.
Endowment funds are subject to specrfic conditions by donors that the r2pltsl must be maSntalnèd by the
charlty.
1.4 Income
Income Is re¢ognlsed when the charlty Is legally entitled to It after any perfomiance conditions have been met.

'Other Flnanclal Instruments Issues, of FRS 102 to all of its financlal Instruments.
Financial instruments are reeognlsed In the charitys balance sheet when the ¢hartty becomes party lo the
contractual provisions of the instrument.
Financial assets and liabililies are offset, with the net amounts presented in the financial slatem8nts. when
there is a legally enforceable right to set off the recognised amounts and there Is an Intention to setue on a net
basis or to realise the asset and settle the fiability simultaneously.
