providing a voucher. That vouther is then redeemed over a drink and a

charities. Govemment Statistics show Ihat out of 12 Regions analysed
the North West was by far the hitrst percentsge of need. Statistically
many of tfE MBC wards are rated in the poorest in the UK
especjalty those in Atherton. L￿h East and Leigh Wesl.

homeless people with ovWni￿t accommodation. some women into
refuge shelters after relationship break(￿)￿￿, referrals to debt assistan
aThJ also drug and alcohol referrals. This has ￿ntInued bul at a muth
more limited wovision.

Many of our volunteers beiro eldety were forced into self-lsolab.c￿ but
the Y￿nger more acb.ve voknnteers doubled and trebled their time
commtiment to ensure Ihat evéryone who needed to be fed could be fed
through tt)e Foodbank. They v￿e magnificent.

Continued to develop and improve Services where possib￿.
Sttll maintairEd all 4 Distribution Centres fully opeTrtional in 3 local towns
dunng the Covid l¢xkdowns. Much appreciation to our laThJlords for
ensuring that their buildings C￿ld remain open following Govemment
guidelines. We are now recDgnised as more than a Foodbank and more
of a local S￿pOrt hub.
Ahhough were facirvJ a p)tentsal funding s￿)rtage at the start of the
financial year a substantial grant from 5 local councillors plus a Covid
grant has overcome that situation.
Wrth a new fl￿draISing partner for the next iwelve months the charity is
confKlent of its future.
We slill maintain a strong brand image in the Eocal community.
