Charlty Objectlves
The objective of our charity isto rescue and rehabilitate domestlc animals who have
been abandoned or neglected. We primarilytake in cats and dogs. We aim to relieve the
suffering of 8nimats in need of care and attention and maintain rescue home or other
facilities for reception and care of such animals. We also take in animals from home
where the owners are unable to careforlkeap them anymore for 8 variety of reasons. We
also help animals, owners who wish to keep their anim81s but are struggiingfinancially
with high veterinAry bills.
Activities and Achievements
We, again, have found this yearto be proving challenging. We have seen a high rise in
people wishingto surrender animals due to the cost of Itving. People neuteringtheir
animals is at a low which in turn has caused a higher influx of stray pregnant cats for us.

We also sadly lost some of our long-term foster animals due to ill health or old age. We
have seen a huge decline in people donatingto and purchasingfrom our main charity
shop which has led to a substantial difference in takingsfrom previous years. Our
volunteers there Continue to work hard, and we are gratefulto their continued
dedication. We also decided to close one of ourcharity8hops as itV4as provingto be
non-profitable.
We were happy to welcome back a previous. much loved and respected trustee after
havingto resign for a while due to ill health. We were also joined by a new trustee who
has a wealth of experience with animal rescue and joins us with a lot of knowledge to
help our charity grow and expand forthe better. We said goodbye to two of our trustees.
We thankthem fortheir time and the time they dedicated to our ch8rity. We chose this
yearto use some of our donations to build new cat penswhich are a warm. safe space
for the cats coming into out care. We also were very lucky to be given a substantial
donation in memory of a huge cat lover, so in her memory we built a wonderful Catio at
one of ourfoster homes for extra enrichment and exercise forthe catslkittens in our
care. This also provides a wonderful meet and greet space for potential adoptees.
Again, we have chosen to use some of our moneywith helpingthe public who Sre
struggiingwith theirvets. bills. We are proud to be able to help owners be able to keep
th8ir p8ts when faced with 8 Costly and un8xpected vet8rinary bill. Our dogfield
continues to be a good asset allowing fosterers to allow their dogs off lead time in a safe
and secure space.
Our fundraisingte8m put on two wonderful and very successful dog shows ag8in this
ye8r. Theywere well attend8d and helped us raise much need funds for the animals w8
help. We are very lucky to have some wonderful volunteers. We are always very grateful
to them for givingtheir time and fortheir dedication to the charity. Without them we
wouldn't be able to help as many animals as we do.
