The Board of Directors is ￿ntinuallY looking to increLY it nulli￿r from the current minirnum level
with suitable skilled pwle. The current board is made up of a diverse ￿0UP of people, reflecting the

NHCC is part of the fellowship of Assemblies of God Inwrporated- a group of some 550 self-
governing Pentecostal churches. The Assemblies of God pmvides accreditation and 5UPPOrt for
minigters churches. It organizes facilities that are better provided Corporately than by individual
churthes, e.g. a Bible College and Missionary support organization. The Assemblies of God is a
company limited by guardntee (no 2873415) registered iti England having its registered offices at
Nationa] Ministy Centre. Retford RO8￿ Doncaster. South YothirE DNIO 5HD and a registered
charity (no 1032245).

A sensitive matter for churches is thild prot¢eiion. NHCC provides services for all age5, including
children 2nd youth. Such activiti¢5 require (￿fijI SUFaVi5i¢)n. NHCC h&% adopted a Safeguarding
Policy which has been updated early in2014. To manage th¢ risl NHCC receives support from
thirtyone:eight Iprev&ously known ￿ the Churches. Child Protection Advisory S¢r¥ice), Swanley,
Kent, BR8 7UQ who act &$ an agency for DBS Ch￿kS for trustees, stsff and volunteers who deal with
chi]dren and vulnerable adults.

knowledge.

Conccrned by the growth in food tx)vety localty NHCC l]as sinix 2015 been involved in h¢lping to
provide 50rne support. Since COVID this has been through a ¢omJnunity partnership under the
North Kensington Communtty Kitch0]. which enabled up to one thouswKI p¢ople receive weekly
food parcels.
Melanie Wolfe a well-known COMM￿lty champion has been the k¢y F¢f50n behind this and thouOJ
others have helped for a time has led this project through three yea￿. With the pandemic behind th¢
Board reviewed the situation and from May 2023 the projert mgved on to run und¢r1heir own steam
in a way appropriats for the times. This has ellabl￿ NHCC to r¢g8in flexibility in th¢ use of the

Much of NHCC'S missionary work is carried out in ¢{￿pa￿lOn with other churche5 within the
Assetnblies of God Fellowship. The World Ministries Departmenl of As5¢mblies of God coordinates
this. Of course. over the l&st few years much of our gtving to missions has been eoneentrated on ¢)ur
locat 8rtA Wtth helping those in food povety in partic￿1¥r. NHCC provides regular financial supwrt

Although the congregation is slowty growing again mwly are in low-income so building up
offerings will a slow priws. As mentioned. the bires are slowly building up but this will take
