The Trustees present their report and financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2024.
Results
The statement of financial activities is set out on page 4 and shows the net income for the year.
Constitution
Giving iz Living is registered with the Charity Commission, registration number 1153215. The
charity's affairs are governed by Declaration of Trust. The Trust Deed restricts the use of the
Charity's income, such that it must be applied solely towards the objects of the Charity.
Tax status
The Charity is exempt from coryoration tax and income tax.
Principal objectlves
The principal objectives and activities of the Charity are:
The prevention and relief of poverty and the protection, conservation and improvement of the
environment anywhere in the world.
Review of activities and future developments
Since the 1st of April 2023 to the 31 March 2024 the Charity has not been active due to other
commitments of the charity trustees and volunteers.

Financial Revxew
In the Trustees, view, the reserves should provide the charity with adequate financial stability and
the means for it to meet its charitable objectives for the foreseeable future.
Whilst the charity is still in its early stages of growth, the trustees propose to get to a level, over the
medium tenn, to maintain the charity's reserves at a level which is at least equivalent to 12 months
operational expenditure.
The trustees review the amount of reserves that are required to ensure that they are adequate to fulfil
the charity's continuing obligations on a quarterly basis at their finance meeting.
Accounts Preparation
The Trustees confirni that the accounts comply with current statutory requirements and with those of
the governing instrument.

Accountin
Policies
The Accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice
"Accounting by Charities"
Restricted and unrcstricted funds
Funds received by the charity that are eannarked either by donation or by the ternis of the grant for
particular projects are accounted for as restricted funds. All other funds are unrestricted. On
completion or closure of specific projects any remaining funds are transferred to the unrestricted
fund.
Income
Donations and income from fLmdraising activities are accounted for on a receipts basis.
Volunta

The charity benefits from many voluntary hours contributed by Trustees and supporters. It would be
impossible to place a value on all the hard work & gifts in kind for which the charity is extremely
grateful and without which much of its work could not be undertaken.

All expenditure is included in the statement of financial activities on a payments basis with the
exception of specific sizeable accruals or prepayments and has been classified under categories
which most appropriately reflect the use of the resources.
Value Added Tax
As the charity is unable to reclaim value added tax all expenditure in these financial statements is
shown inclusive of value added tax.

The charity has no depreciable assets and holds no stock.

Report to the Trustees of the Giving iz Living on the accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024 as set
out on pages 4 to 7.

As the charity's Trustees you are responsible for the preparation of

Trustees and Examiner 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act) does not apply. It is my
responsibility to state on the basis of procedures specified in the
General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners under
Section 43(7)(b) of the Act, whether particular matters have come to
my attention.
Basis of Independent
Examiner's Report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general
directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination
includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and
a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also
includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the
accounts, and seeking explanations from you as Trustees concerning
any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do
not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent
Examiner's Statement
In accordance with my examination, no matter has come to my
attention:
( l ) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any
material respect the requirements to keep accounting records
in accordance with Section 41 of the Act. and to prepare
accounts which accord with the accounting records and to
comply with the accounting requirements of the Act have
not been met, or
(2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order
to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be
reached.
