ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE AND DECISION MAKING The charlty Is organised so that the trustees meet regularly to mange Its affalrs. The parish pastor manages the day to day administratlon of the church, RELATED PARTY TRANSACTZON RCCG Llvlng Word is a parlsh of The Redeemed Chrlstlan Church of God whlch has parlshes all over the world. The parish'5 relationshlp wlth other parlshes Is governed by an 'Agreement for Common purposes.. RISK MANAGEMENT The trustees have assessed the major rlsks to whlch the charlty Is exposed, In partlcular those related to operallons and finances of the charltyi and are satlsfied that systems are in place to mltlgate our exposures to major rlsks. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES The prlncipal object is the advancement of Chrlstlan falth In accordance with the ststement of bellets of The Redeemed Chrlstlan Church of God, and the rellef of poverty. Apart from Its Church actlvltles, the charlty was Involved In the followlng publlc beneflt efforts: Hostlng food banks for the less prlvlleged in our communlty and glvlng Out food stuffs In the local market monthly. Holdlng outreaches In areas of Interest to our communlty* such as the care homes. In the year we held semlnars for marrled men and women on bulldlno homes that wlll Impact rhe commu nlty posltlvely. We held Sunday servlces and mld week blble studles amongst others. Our efforts are geared towards supportlng the programmes of our local communbty, promotlng coheslon In our communlty, and Impactlng the Ilves of the young people and the elderly. GRAIIT MAKING POLICY The chu rch supports vlsltlng mlnlsters of the gospel both wlthln and outslde the Unlted klngdom. Support Is also glven to RCCG Central Offlce, World Evangellsm Mlsslon, Festlval of Llfe and other RCCG programmes. The Church su pports other charltles and mlsslonary that shares Its objects In the advancement of Chrlstlan falth and rellef of poverty. The church glves occaslonal welfare grants to congregatlonal members who are In need. VOLUNTEERS The church Is gratefu I for the unstinting efforts of Its volunteers who are Involved In provld Ing servlces for the charlty. It Is estlmated that over 1200 hour5 are provlded by volunteers durlng the year. Lf thls Is conservatlvely valued at £8.50 per hour, the volunteer5 effort ¥ylll amount to over £10,200. REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES The church conllnues to enjoy tremendous growth In Its physlcal and splrltual Ilfe durlno the year, and In the advancement of Chrlstlan falth In accordance wlth the doctrlnes set out In the Statement of falth contalned In our constitutlon. RESERVES POLICY The trustees, pollcy Is to have unrestrlcted and uncommltted funds (f￿e reserves) to cover 3 to 6 months of resource5 expended. They feel that thls would enable the current actlvltles to contlnue If there Is any slgnlflcant drop in fundino. It would obviously be necessary then to con51der how the fundlng would be replaced or actlvlties changed. The present Free ￿ serve 55 wlthln the pollcy range but the trustees are continulng to seek addltlonal funds for the reserves. FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS The charlty contlnues to explore various ways of spreadlng the gospel of Chrlst In an effective manner. The charlty Is also looklng to grow In membershlp and contlnue to develop Its members to makelsfe-changlng Impact In the communlty. Charlty law requlres the trustees to prepare flnanclal statements for each flnanclal year, Under that law, the trustees have elected to prepare the fbnanclal statements In accordance wlth the Unlted Klngdom Generally Acceptable Accountlng Prattbce (Unbted Klngdom Accountlng Standards and applicable law). The flnanclal statements are requ Sred to glve a true and falr vlew of the state of affalrs of the charlty and of the su rplus or deflclt of the charlty for that perlod. The trustees recognlse their responslbllities to keep proper accountlng records that dlsclose wlth reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charlty and enable them to ensure that the flnancial statements comply with the Charlties Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguardlng the assets of the company and hence taklng steps for the prevention and detectlon of fraud and other Irregularities. The Charity's trustees consider than an audit is not required for the period under settion 14212) of the Charities Act 2011 and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responslbility to: examine the accounts under section 145 of Charities Act 20 11. follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commissioners lunder settion 145(5){b} of the 20 1 l Act; and state whether particular matters have come to my attention. BASIS OF MY EXAMINATION My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the account, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters, The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a "true and fair" vlew and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statements below.
