The club was developed to also provide a recreational facility for the community. The club is dedicated to encouraging participation in amateur boxing whilst at the same time maintaining the fun and enjoyment that should be associated with any amateur sport. It shall also be dedicated to the development and pursuit of fair play and respect for others through the study, appreciation and practice of the art and science of amateur boxing through organised practice and competitive tournaments. A high dependency special needs youth attends a session of Saturdays. A disability l inclusive session continued on a Monday afternoon to encourage inclusive sport. This session was well attended by approx. 20+ adults with different levels of ability, this represents good growth this year. Open keep fit free of charge sessions are held on a Monday Wednesday, Friday mornings be￿een 10.00-11.30 Sunday friends and family sessions encouraging a mixture of all ages (mums, dads, aunties uncles and children) and ability were held In addition, when specifically requested the facility was opened and used at various times and dates. 5 home Boxing toumaments were held at Allerton Golf Course by the club. The club again held a special needs boxing exhibition I show which allowed the disability group to experien￿ participating in a 'real' boxing event. Many boxers also travelled to various other tournaments, locally and nationally The total number of own club members contests on home club shows alone this year was 80. This number is very high in relation to other amateur clubs in the UK. The charity cannot run without the support of its unpaid volunteers. In addition there has been significant support and assistan￿ from parent members. The club had had 5 home shows at Allerton golf Club comprising of 16 contests featuring 16 of our own boxers on each show. The first National tournament entered was the Development Championship in October were the club entered boxers with 1 reaching the Merseyside & Cheshire final. Up next was the NABGC'S were the club had 3 entries. 1 Merseyside Finalist, 2 Merseyside Champions and 1 National quarter finalist. Then next was the Junior Championships with 4 entries. 2 Merseyside finalists, 2 Merseyside champions and 2 national quarter finalists. Then onto the Schools Championships the club had 4 entries. 1 Merseyside finalist, 3 Merseyside champions, 1 national quarter finalist, 1 national semi finalist, 1 national Champion. Then the club entered 7 entries into the Manchester schools and junior box cup. were the club achieved 5 Gold medal winners and 2 silver medallists.

Total income for the year reduced slightly to £25,666, from £27,840 last year, mainly due to reduced member subs and sponsorships. The Charity was in profit for the year of £8,169 compared to a last year of £8,076. The additional net profit providing a net balance sheet of £38,905, compared to £30,736 last year.
