the charity as set out in its

The club was formed to provide an
organised and competitive club for people
who are interested in amateur boxing. The
club was developed to also provide a
recreational facility for the community.
The club is dedicated to encouraging
participation in amateur boxing whilst at the
same time maintaining the fun and
enjoyment that should be associated with
any amateur sport. It shall also be
dedicated to the development and pursuit
of fair play and respect for others through
the study, appreciation and practice of the
art and science of amateur boxing through
organised practice and competitive
tournaments.

for people of all ages, gender and
nationalit

The club provided training activities as
follows..
Monday Wednesday Friday.. 09.00-
12.OOhrs 16.30- 21.OOhrs
Tuesday, Thursday: 17.00-20.OOhrs
Sunday: 10.00 until 12.00
Additional opening hours this year also
included provision of Personal Training for
most of the day when the gym is not
otherwise in use.
A group frtness class has been added on
Tuesday and Thursday evening

A high dependency special needs youth
attends a session of Saturdays.
A disability l inclusive session continued on
a Monday afternoon to encourage inclusive
sport. This session was well attended by
approx. 20+ adults with different levels of
ability, this represents good growth this
year.
Open keep fit free of charge sessions are
held on a Monday Wednesday, Friday
mornings between 10.00-11.30
Sunday friends and family sessions
encouraging a mixture of all ages (mums,
dads, aunties uncles and children) and
ability were held
In addition, when specifically requested the
facility was opened and used at various
times and dates.
5 very successful Boxing tournaments were
held by the club.
The club again held a special needs boxing
exhibition I show which allowed the
disability group to experience participating
in a 'real' boxing event.
Many boxers also travelled to various other
tournaments, locally and nationally
The club hosted an international team from
USA, during their visit to Liverpool to
participate in an international tournament.
The club provided transport, training
facilities, hotel accommodation and
entertainment for the duration of their visit

successful year for the club, maintaining
numbers through both boxing and classes
for those with special needs.

Review of the charity's
financial position at the end
of the period

The Charity carried forward cash of
£28,111 compared to £19,945 the previous
year. The club is in profit as per plan.
Outgoings for the year increased to £19764
from £15,701, this was due to maintenance
and utilities.
Total income for the year increased slightly
to £27,840, from £24,712 last year, mainly
due to increased members subs.
The Charity was in profit for the year of
£8076 compared to a last year of £9011.
The additional net profit providing a net
balance sheet of £30,736. compared to
£22,660 last year. An excellent basis for
the club to continue to thrive.

are available, they are only to be held when
a specific need is identified and agreed by
the members. Reserves held of £10,500
this is to be used towards the purchase of a
mini bus, equipment purchase and building
