Activities
The Charity provide opportunities for a variety of different groups of people primarily disable children to enjoy education, recreation, therapy and work experience covering not only all the activities that encompass farming, forestry, the natural environment and horticulture but also forest school, bushcraft, food production projects in the walled kitchen or sensory gardens.
Objects: The Objects For Which The Charity Is Established (“The Objects”) Are For The Public Benefit To Advance Education And To Provide Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare For People Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons And In Particular But Without Limiting The General Scope Of This Clause:(i) To Provide Education, Training And Recreation By Such Means As The Directors May In Their Absolute Discretion Determine By Providing An Opportunity For Children With Learning Difficulties Both To Participate In The Activities Of A Working Farm And Woodland And To Receive Specialised Tuition In A Farm, Garden Or Woodland Setting In Both The Practical Skills Relevant To Rural, Agricultural And Farm Husbandry And Any Other Activities Deemed To Be Of Benefit To Children;(ii) To Relieve Temporarily The Parents And Carers Of Children With Learning Difficulties From Their Day To Day Responsibilities By Providing Those Children With Day Care And Residential Care;(iii) To Provide Education And Training To Adults In Woodland Management Practices And Operations Where This Forms Part Of A Course Of Rehabilitation For Those Suffering From A Terminal Illness By Such Means As The Directors May In Their Absolute Discretion Determine And In Particular But Without Limiting The General Scope Of This Clause By Providing An Opportunity For Such Adults To Participate In The Activities Of A Working Farm And To Receive Specialized Tuition In A Farm, Woodland Or Garden Setting;
