A very disappointing year where very little fundraising events were able to take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The £7000 that we did raise was donations from the guests at the Great British Care Awards events at the beginning of the year before the national lockdown was implemented.
We were, however, pleased to be able to pass £8458.94 on to the orphanage which hugely helped fund school fees, urgent building maintenance and medical expenses. My wife and I, as trustees, visited the Orphanage in January and managed to capture further video footage which will massively help future fundraising events.
