**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF ANIMAL WELFARE:3.1 FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF STRAY OR ABANDONED DOGS AND PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR DOGS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF ABANDONMENT, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE.3.2 TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERSHIP AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ABANDONED, UNCLAIMED OR MALTREATED DOGS.

**Activities:** UK death row dog rescue, striving to save the lives of stray dogs facing destruction. Working in conjunction with other agencies, we arrange the safe transfer of death row dogs from pounds to places of safety. Safe and Sound funds vet care, transportation and emergency kennelling for death row dogs who have noone else to turn to, giving them the chance to be loved as family pets once again.
