The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2022. The trustees who served during the year and up to the date of this report are set out on page 1 .

Structure, governance and management

The charity is a registered charity formed under a constitution under a deed dated 17 July 2013. It has been registered with the Charities Commission under reference 1152919.

The managment of the charity is managed by the holding trustees

Objectives and activities

The objects of the charity are as follows.

To promote the advancement of the religion of Islam for peace and tolerence in a multi faith manner & delivered in the local & wider community.

To help the youth to stay away from drugs,drinks,crime trouble,by arranging sports events and mentoring young youth to help themselves to avoid getting into trouble.

Public benefit

The charity's strategic plans are developed to ensure that we provide maximum public benefit and achieve our objectives as set out in our strategy. These objectives fall under purposes defined by the Charities Act 2011.

Achievements and performance

The trustees have considered the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit and in particular its supplementary guidance on the advancement of religion for the benefit of the public.

  1. Daily prayer facilities, three times a day including Fajjar before the sunrise

  2. Youth programmes including sports, debates etc.

  3. Arrange Inter faith activities including Mosque open day.

Financial review

The statement of financial Activities shows how the charity's funds have been applied during the year. The gross receipts of the charity was £33,880 (2021 £17,919). The net result for the year was an excess of reciept over payment of £14,690 (2021 £3,686) The bank balance as at 31.03.2022 on unrestricted funds totalled £56,401.

Statement of trustees' responsibilities

The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees' Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).

Law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity for that year. In preparing these financial statements the trustees are required to:

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT ON THE ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31st MARCH 2022

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the year ended 31st March 2022.

As the charity trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 .

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
