Objectives and Activities

Aims and Objectives

To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the doctrines of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) for the benefit of the public, and to provide support to the community through worship services, prayer meetings, religious teaching, pastoral care, outreach activities, and initiatives aimed at relieving poverty and promoting the wellbeing of individuals and families.

Public Benefit

The church provides public benefit by advancing the Christian faith through open worship services, prayer meetings, and religious teaching that are accessible to the general public. These activities promote moral and spiritual development, encourage positive values, and provide guidance and support to individuals and families.

In addition, the church supports members of the wider community through pastoral care, counselling, outreach activities, and assistance to those in need. These include providing practical support, advice, and help to individuals experiencing hardship or personal difficulties, thereby contributing to the wellbeing and cohesion of the community.

The trustees confirm that they have complied with the requirements of Section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.
