COME BLESS THE LORD MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL
REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 31 MARCH 2023
The following is an account of the activities, events and general progress of Come Bless the Lord Ministries International. The Ministry continues to establish and develop which is, at present is its primary activity.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Charity continues to meet in North London. This year saw us moving to a new place of worship. This new place is bigger and better than the former place of worship; it affords us both an office and a storage space. We give glory to God.
MEMBERSHIP
Registered membership of the Church has grown within this period.
NURTURING THE CHURCH
Weekly prayer meeting and bible studies are held weekly.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Evangelism is an ongoing thing and this done by word of mouth, sharing of leaflets and organisation of events like our annual worship night. This year’s worship night was well attended by friends, relatives and others who took away, among other things, something from the Gospel preached that day.
SUMMER TRIP
As usual, our annual beach trip was undertaken, but this time, with another church. This was wonderful and particularly therapeutic because it brought people from other communities together. We were able to talk about problems and shared ideas about various things. The trip ended with a commitment to repeat this in the succeeding years and also committing to pray and support each other from then on
CHRISTMAS ACTIVITES
The Christmas festivities were crowned with a performance of the Nativity play by the children and the youth. It went down well with the congregation.
SUPPORT TO OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS
The charity is committed to supporting agencies and projects which carry out valuable and essential services by way of donations to charities suggested by the membership.
As such, we are able to help some 15 orphans in a village in Ghana called Asikuma in the Denkyira district. The total remittance to them monthly is £300, and this little amount is able to help them with things like school clothes, fees, etc., to help them get education resulting in better life. In order for these orphans to be part of the community, each one has been placed with a member of their extended family. It is our belief that in so doing, these children will not have a feeling of rejection but rather have a feeling of belonging.

TRUSTEE MEETING
The trustees held meetings during which the progress of the Church was discussed and plans to increase the church numbers of activities in the Community was also discussed. Some of the plans to see the charity forward were:
-
Evangelism & Missions – Efforts to be increased.
-
Youth – Youth services to be held monthly to encourage the youth to participate more, in preparation for leadership since they are the leaders of tomorrow.
CONCLUSION
The commitment of the members to the vision of the Charity has allowed us to maintain a vibrant and healthy environment for spiritual and natural growth. We are proud of this growth and we thank God for it.

FINANCIAL REVIEW AND RESERVES POLICY
The income of the charity for the year was £36,516 by way of Donations. The cost of charitable activities was £31,831 . This was spent directly and indirectly to support the charities activities. At the end of the year there was a favorable net movement of funds amounting to £4,685. At the end of the year, 31 March 2023, there was an unrestricted fund balance amounted to £25,588 . The charity’s policy is to retain reserves, in the form of unrestricted funds, to a level where they equate in value approximately 12 months expenditure. This should provide a reasonably secure financial base on which to plan future projects and commit to related expenditure, before external funding has been fully secured. The charity is reviewing its reserves policy so that the charity would be able to continue its current level of activities in the event of a significant drop in funding.

Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The trustees of the charity are responsible for the preparation of accounts: they consider that the audit requirement under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Act)), does not apply. It is my responsibility to:
Examine the accounts under section 43(3) of the 1993 Act. Follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners made under section 43(7)(b) of the 1993 Act, and
State whether particular matters have come to my attention.
BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS REPORT
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Direction given by the Charity Commissioner’s. An examination included a review of the accounting records kept. It also includes consideration of any unusual items of disclosures in the accounts. And seeking examinations from you as trustees concerning any matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and as a result I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent Examiner’s Statement
In accordance with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
-
which gives me a reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:
-
to keep accounting record in accordance with section 41 of the 1993 Act and
-
to prepare which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the 1993 Act.
-
Have not been met
-
To which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
