The Association continues to enjoy a mU￿allY sUP￿rtive Tel￿10n5hlP with the world-renowncd AstroDataBank with which

This year ha8 seen the library being prepar￿ for a majord¢v¢lopm¢nL which initiated on l April 2022. when the complete
Jto¢k of Englt3h lan8ua8t books moved to NewTror¢ South Waley to be re-integmed with the Aswiati¢)n's library archive
of interna¢ional p¢ridicals and reference b(th, al(mgside the Astrolearn Librwy. This Q￿bined collection is now under the
care of th¢ highly regarded ￿tr￿arChIVI$t- Philip Grnves, who is now alw the A*rological Association Librarian..
The scanning projccl continu¢s with the 8im of preserving the content of rare and out of prllit books that are in poor condition.
They are available online to memb¢TS. Th¢ online bookshop for the sale of 5econd.hand ￿0]OgY 1K￿S received a very gocpj
r¢s￿nSe at the Ouober 2021 Annual Confrnc¢. Part of the Library reowization has been to make of the archiY¢s of John
Addey, Charles Harvey. and R H Nay￿, available a￿1 re&ly. Two munbus of Association's Bothrd have agreed to work on
these.

two ¢dition$ in proparotion for 2022-23.

The Library is now a part of an In'ernational Astrology LibTV with a combined colleL#ion of ttn$ of thousands of books and
P¢Tiodical r¢f¢ren¢e material, carefully stor&J and available for study. Plans for a major expAnsion to enable world-wide
availability of the Library are ongoing and will b¢ outlined in more derail in the 2022-23 Annual Report
One of the aims for Ihe library is to make liierature and research materials more accessible to members. The
objective is lo provide wider reading (including previously publicly inaccessible materid) and generate revenue
for the Associ￿lOn. The or8onisplion of ihe gale of second-hand knks is bein8 reviewed. but it is plJnn¢d to
continue.

The Trusiees consider that the Charity's reserves will enh8n¢¢ the services provided and provide financial security for the future.
The reserves held in unrestricted fund4 which have not t*en desig￿•1 or inves*d in fixed assets, ￿ 31.03.22 were £65,598.
The reserves policy of the ¢h8rity is to endeavour to hold at le&st six months nmning costs in free
unTeslricted reserves. A8 at 31.03.22, the Unresm￿Cd reserves, not desIgn￿ed and held fixed
assets, were £65,598. This represents more than six months. running costs. The chariry closely
monitors the level of reserves and enswes that these are maintained by the use of g(M)d management
and financial controls.
