|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|After Covid restrictions were lifted, it has<br>been good to meet again weekly as a whole<br>orchestra, face to face, but now with the<br>added advantage of live streamed and<br>recorded rehearsals. This means that when<br>players are ill or unable to attend, they can<br>watch the rehearsals live from home or<br>catch up later in the week. It also means<br>that we can include players from a wider<br>geographical area who cannot attend in<br>person, eg Hampshire and Somerset. We<br>are always keen to encourage younger<br>players, and to welcome new members, of<br>which we have had quite a few this year.<br>Numbers have fluctuated between 55 and<br>65.<br>We have given 2 public performances<br>during the year, both of which were well<br>supported, with over 100 tickets sold at<br>each.|
