RDTF annual report year end 2023
The charity con7nues to work closely with Steve Shaw from the Cambridgeshire County Council who works directly with the teams of people who oversee many under privileged children including carers, looked aCer children, children with learning difficul7es and children with disabili7es.
This year Steve has been able to iden7fy more children who have been able to benefit through the charity’s support which has included a number of disabled persons which we’ve been excited to be part of.
We are commiJed to working with Steve and the Cambridgeshire County Council to support children who are living in very underprivileged circumstances.
We also support a charity call Tennis For Uganda who are a tennis based charity in Uganda suppor7ng children from the local community. We pay £500 per month towards their food costs and receive regular feedback from them. We have restricted our payments this year as the charity is thinking about stooping running the charity due to personal circumstances and non of the trustees having the 7me any more. We have looked for new trustees with liJle success.
Sadly, our annual golf fundraiser day has failed to generate any real momentum since covid and we are thinking of new ways to raise funds for next year.
