**Objects:** THE PROVISION OF HOUSING ACCOMODATION TO THOSE IN NEED WHO HAVE RESIDED WITHIN 20 MILES OF ST MARY'S CHURCH, ST MARY'S BUTTS, READING FOR NOT LESS THAN THREE YEARS PRECEDING THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT, AND ARE OF GOOD CHARACTER.IN KEEPING IN PROPER REPAIR THE VAULT OF MARY LOVE IN THE CHURCH OF ST. LAURENCE, READING.IN MAKING AN ANNUAL PAYMENT OF NOT LESS THAN £1,450 PER ANNUM, OR SUCH OTHER SUM AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, TO THE CHURCHWARDENS FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE PARISHES OF FRILSHAM AND YATTENDON IN THE ROYAL COUNTY OF BERKSHIRE TO BE APPLIED FOR THE RELIEF OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THOSE PARISHES WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS IN SUCH MANNER AS THE SAID CHURCHWARDENS THINK FIT.FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS IN THE ALMSHOUSES OF THE CHARITY OR ANY OF THEM IN SUCH MANNER AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT FROM TIME TO TIME.AT LEAST 15 OF THE RESIDENTS SHALL BE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AND AT LEAST 5 OF THE RESIDENTS SHALL BE WIDOWS OF 55 YEARS OR OVER WHO ARE IN NEED.
