Our Communications Manager Cherry Hamilton works part time forthe Charity The Trustees nomialty meet at least three tlmes durin8 the year. Detalls of the Trustees are given on Pa8e 3. The A8encrf was set up with the ￿pport of the British Coundl of Churches, the Evangelkal Alllance, the Roman CatholK Church, the Black-led thurthes and othets. The Objects of the A8ency are to advance Christian ￿ligIon and Christian education within England and Wales. The Agency deals with ewuiries relatin8 to the Christlan faiih, particularty from people who have no existing contact with Christian Communities, and are not ready to make contart with a local church. We give free, objective, reliable and coDtIOentlal infomiation 10 those who are interested In the Chrlstian faith. The main channel through whlch we glve Infomiation Is the website www.chrlstlanlty.org.uk. This was completely redesi8ned in November 2010 and a8ain in 2015 and a further redesign In 2019. Thls has allowed the Agenry to provide Infomatlon to a far greater number of people than was possible through artivities that were lar8ety paper-based. The website contains about 80,(m words of information about the Christian faith- Infonnatlon about what Christians believe, and frequently asked questions about faith, as well as seasonally thanging features. The webslte also enables people to make contact with the Agew. We are able to send those who do so a Gospel. put them in touch with a local church, answertheir questlons. enter an emall conversation about what it means to have faith. or pray for thern through a network of about two hundred supporters who are cornmitted to this tssk. It is our policy to send people what they ask for. and solely what they ask for. Fundlng Throughout its history, the Agency has derived the 8reater part of its Income from grants from the denominations and charitable twsts which support its work Grants from denominations have been significantly redu￿ during the last two to three year& path because financial pressures are directlng denominational resour￿ to theirown agencies and also because of the redU￿d level of our own activity.
