**Objects:** 1.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN STRADBROKE, SUFFOLK AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF A LENDING LIBRARY;2.TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF STRADBROKE, SUFFOLK AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS.

**Activities:** The Trust runs the Court House building in Stradbroke and supports the Library. During 2013/2014 we refurbished the main Court House room which now operates as a community cafe and public space. We refurbished the upstairs meeting room in 2018 also providing space to hold the Stradbroke Village Archive.
