## **Financial Review**

|**Financial Review**|||
|---|---|---|
|Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period|Para 1.21|Financially we have achieved a small
increase in our cash funds, finishing the year
£900 up on 2022-23. We have purchased a
new projector and a cooker this year, so this
indicates that our income has exceeded our
regular outgoings. We are hoping to improve
the hall acoustics, and to that end grants
have been sought to cover most of the cost.|
|Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held|Para 1.22|Our reserves are intact, and will be
available next year for improvements.
These will hopefully include acoustic
modifications to the hall. Depending on the
results of grant applications and cost
inflation, some of our reserves will be
required to support this project.|
|Amount of reserves held|Para 1.22|Our account currently holds about £20,000.
Of this, £5000 is held notionally for running
costs and contingencies, and the remainder
can be classed as ‘reserves’. This is
available for permanent capital projects.|
