The Company has been fOr￿d to support the ongoing work of the New Lwe Community Church, I'NLCC"), an
aGtive independent group that came Into exlstence in 198718.
hilst Covid-19 has had an effect on the perfor￿￿ of the Church in the first part of the year, the ￿mOv#1 of
Covid restrictions al the end of March 2022 ha5 seen a retum lo normal. Church services have been held
whenever possibb on a Sunday moming in th8 main hall of the Rainham Sch¢)ol for Gids. DeTwent Way,
Rainham, Kènt. When government restri¢lions have prevented the Church meeting, seNices have been held
over the intemet, on ZoTh)m and Facettyaok. Under these ￿n¢t11)n5, Zoom has been used to pemiil prayer
meetings, bible studies and local house group5 to continue. Attendance at Church meetsng8 at the school have
risen from about 3510 65 as the year has progressed.. Meetings have continued to be broadcast on tho internet
to allow others lo pin in who cannot attend personally.
The Company with its Church body. Ne•V Lrfe Communty Church, has conb.nued to support a number of
indwiduals and chanlies involved in missK)n work at hoff* and overseas. prin￿p￿ areas of support have been..
Salvatlon Arniy. We have provided finaft¢￿I assistance to Iwo local branches (Gillingham and
Chatham) of the Sa￿a￿.0n Army trj SUPFQrt l¢)cal issues.
Food Bank. Providing finanaal support to the Food Bank (Medwayl wfftlch in turn is provldlng
emergency food SLtpport to peop￿ in desperate short-temi need in the eornmunrty.
Chrlstlans Against Poverty {CAPI. WorkJ"ng with CAP wh￿h provKles immediate relief and ongoing
counselling and debl management services in the Gillingham area.
Em•rye Advocacy (The Queen's Award for Voluntary SeNre). We have provided financial assistsn¢e
to Emerge Adv￿¢Y, a charrtable ministy of youth w(rters supwrtlng people struggling wlth their
feelings or mental heath issues.
