**HANOVER PLAYSCHOOL** Priory Heights, Priory Green Estate, Wynford Road, London N1 9SG Telephone N[o] : 020 7713 7366 ## - Hanover playschool annual report 2020 2021 Again, this year has been a very challenging time due to Covid restrictions, although we have managed to stay full open even during nation lockdown. Staff have remained committed and have adapted very well to a new way of playschool life especially keeping the playschool germ free and maintaining a safe environment for all. Staff training has been ongoing this includes training such as 1[st] aid, Safeguarding ACT awareness and Prevent duty training. There has been no staff changes except for employing an apprentice. Government grant have really helped playschool to maintain staff ratios and maintaining a high quality of care for children and staff. The pandemic had restricted outside visits that would usually take place due to the risk of Covid-19 therefore our outside play area had been used extensively. As Government guidelines sated to meet outside where possible we were extremely lucky to have our outside play area to explore. Celebrations were limited to staff and children only as parents were not permitted into our playroom during the Pandemic. Financially we have managed to obtain a generation grant during the pandemic which had helped greatly. All Staff were furloughed from March 2020-September 2020 as this was during a nation lockdown this was a great help with staff wages as we were closed and unable to generate any revenue. We have been very grateful for all support from Parents during this difficult period.
