The dlrectors present their report and the independentty examined financial statements for
the year ended 31 December 2025. Al Massirn Trust Is a company Ilmrted by guarantee,
Incorporated on iith May 2012, not having a share capitsl and rew'stered wlth the Charity
Commlsslon on 21 June 2013. The companyls 8ovemed by a board of trustees operatlng
under the Trvsvs Memorandum and Artides of Assodatlon dated 4th May 2012.

2. Means of attalnlng the above objects
The Trusvs prlnclpal actlvlty Is the promotlon of Al Mosslm, a vbdeo tralnlni resource that
explalns the Chrlstlan falth; thls resource Is dellvered predomlnantly throuah tralnln8 events
whlch are or8anlsed by the Trust or bts partners.
The Dlrertors have obtalned professlonal advke In the preparatlon of board pollcle5. These
are under continuous revbew.
The Dlrertors and mana8ement team 8lve proper conslderatlon to the Charlty Commlsslon's
guldance on publ1¢ benefft when plannlng artfvltles for the year.
The Trust operates under En8land and Wale5 charity le8lslatlon and comprlses a small
admlnlstration team at the primary locatlon and other workers and volunteers operating out
of thelr homes In the UK, Etsrope, the Mlddle East. Afrlu, Asla, Australla and the Amerlcas. A
8rowlng number of Independent teams based outsSde the UK promote the resource and run
trninin8 events in their worldwide regions; the Trusvs relatlonshlps wlth these teams are
deflned by Memoranda of UnderstandSn8. Where posslble these Independent teams
contrlbute Income through royaltles on sales of the resource but there Is no Ilablllty for
expendfture on these teams, except wfthln the USA and Canada.
As a falth-based or8anlsatlon. the Trust places 8reat importance not only on wise leadershlp
and the adherence to best practice but also In a prayer-based foundatlon to Its board of
trustees and the dally operatlon of the TrusL
Perforniance asalnst Plan and Futu￿ Hans
The primary activities of the Trust are the distribution and devel¢)pment of the Al Mosslro
resource. Dlstrlbutlonls currently achleved prlmarily through training and addltional methods
are under active considerntion. Development artivity indudes the addltlon of new lan8ua8e
varlants to the Al Mossim resource through SU￿titIeS and audio versions beln8 added to the
fllm resource.

In thls perlod:
109 tralnln8 events were completed worldwide with over 2,(W people tralned to use
the Al Masslra resource. 29 trnlnln8 events were held onllne which represents 27% of
all tralnin8S.
Nlne Traln the Tralnerf events were run worldwide attended by about 70 potentlal
tralners.
Four new language dubbin8s have been Completed. Significant progress has also been
made with another six language prolects and varlou5 written resource projects are
under way.
Demand contlnues to 8row for the Al Ma￿1r0 le￿UrCe and trainln8 - thls Includes
Afrlca, the Arab world, several areas Sn Asla, Etsrope and N & S Amerlca and amongst
those worklng wlth refu8ees. In many places the dernand requlres the resource and
trainin8 to be rendered into new lan8ua8es.
A Twovyear capaclty bulldln8 Snltlatlve was launthed to develop more tralnlng In the
Mlddle East, North Afrlca and South and Centfal Asla re8ions, to further encourage
the use of the resources In those reglons, and to stren8then the communlcatlons
capac6ty of the organlzatlon. Nearly 80% of a two-year budget to facilltate thls activlty
Was receNed and much of thls finance wlll be Invested durln8 the next year.
Tralnlng Is now operatlng in over 60 countrles wlth a partlcular focus of team a¢tlvlty
In around 40 countrles. Thls work Is supervlsed u￿ft8 ten re8lonal coordlnatlon areas.
Locatlon-specfflc analytlcs related to the Al Masslra onllne App If￿1Cate that the App
h•s been downloaded Sn more than 140 natlons.
Al Ma$slra Trust encourages teams to form In dlfferent locatlon$ wlth the purpose of
undertakinff translation projects, delivering tralnlng and providin8 follow-up and support.
Where posslble these teams are developed through buSldln8 partnershlps wtth dlfferent
a8encSes and churches. The relationshlp between Al Masslra Trust and these teams Is both
6ulded and 8uarded through the s18nin8 of Memoranda of Understandln8.
Resources are avallable in MP4 format by download and throu8h two Almosslrn apps: a web-
based app whlch was launched in 2022 and an SD Card app for places where Internet ac¢ess
1$ Ilmlted or expenslve. The SO Card App for Afrlca now contalns ten language verslon. A team
was formed In 2022 to produce a new series of resources (to follow on from the exlstln8 fllmsl
wlth a focus on dlsclpleshlp. Development of thls serle5 has pr<Jceeded well durln8 2025. wlth
planning for the launch of the first three 'episodes' during 2027.
Websites. a shared onllne work platform and the database contlnue to be developed to
support the work of the teams internationally. Communlcatlon through regular newsletters
and prayer-letters maintains good connertlon wlth those who have been tralned and who
support the work of the charlty.
Throu8h the tralning and the following engagement Al Masslra Trnst contlnues to encourage
healthy. frlendshlp-based communlty development across dlfferent natlonal and cultural
back8rounds.
Encoura8ln8 feedback has been recelved from those partldpatlng In Almosslro groups around
the world; many reports are being re￿IVed of IFves bein8 chan8ed throu8h encounteringjesus
through a deeper exploratlon of the Christian Suiptures.

4. Appolntment, Inductlon and Tralnlry of Dlrector5
Selection of new trustees is the respon￿bIlIty of the board of t￿￿ alone and appolntment
for a three-year term is bv a resolution of the trustees.
One new dlrector. Rachel Chard. was appolnted In thls pefk)d.
An Induction process Is undertaken fof all new dlrertors/trustees. Includln8 a personal
meetlng wlth the board Chalr or the Chalrfs representative and an Snvitatlon to attend a board
meetlng as an observer where practicable. dlrectors are apprlsed of thelr roles and
responslblllties a5 dlrectors of a company and trustees of a t￿$t and are provlded wlth coples
of the key documents governln8 Al Masslra Trust Includlng the board's policles. In the
Inductlon process tnJstee5 are a150 dlrected towards the Charlty Commlsslon's webslte.
5. Governance and Board Polkles
The board contlnued its pro8ramme of rollln8 revlew, and where necessary rev151on, of all
board pollcles whlch In 2025 notably Included the board's Flnandal Pollcles, Safe8uardln8 of
Vulnerable Indlvlduals. Antl-money Launderln& Dlverslty & Equality and Expenses Clalm
Pollcles. In add￿lOn, the Board Member Commltments and Board Member Invltatlon and
Indurtlon Process were approved.
6. Data Protectlon
Introductlon of data protectlon requ5rements under the GDPR In 2018 has become well
establlshed In the chadtys operatlons and processes.
7. Rlsk Revlew
The board forn)ally revlews tts RSsk Re8lster annually or whenever there are sl8nlficant
chan8es In the nature of the charws work or Its spheres of operatlon. During 2023 the
Board'5 chalr InStlated the personal disdpllne of revlewln8 the Rlsk Re8lster monthty, a
practlce that was malntalned durin8 2025.
Fundlng Is a prlmary concern and followSng the Inltlal years of seed fundlng the board wlshes
to broaden its fundin8 base and develop a wider range of 8rant making bodies and personal
donors. The board Is pleased to note a steady Increase In monthly standlng order Income
from personal donors. At the same tlme, It Is workln8 to ensure that costs of its tralnlng are
carefully controlled and that In the developed world. where the reciplents are able to do so,
a reasonable contrlbution towards that tralnln81s sou8ht from dele8ates.
8. Reser¥es Pollcy
Reserles are deflned as totally unrestrlrted funds. At all tlmes, the acceptable level of free
reserves held bytheTrust will be equivalent to three months of budgeted annual unrestrlrted
expendlture (2025: £21.960, 2024: £22.1881. The mlnlmum level of free reserves held by the
Trust wlll be equivalent to two months of budgeted annual unrestrirted expendlture12025:
£14,640, 2024: £14,792). When possible, free reserves will be held at four to five month5 of
budgeted annual unrestrirted expenditure. At the year*nd free reser￿ of £35.195 were

held12024: £46,525) whlch was equfvalent to flve months actual unrestrfcted expendlture
{2024: 7 months).
Durlng 2025 the 8oard declded that slrnllar pnxedures should be applled to Restrlcted
Fundln8 Ilnes beln8 used to pay salaries and other recurring costs. Thls was Introduced to the
re8ular flnanclal reportlng from the stsrt of 2026. It applles to Journey To8ether and Capaclty
8ulldln8 funds.
Unrestrlcted funds, whlch are held by partner or8anlsatlons on behalf of the Trust, wlll be
Includ￿ wlthln reserves but dearly Identlfled as beln8 held by partners.
The Reserves have been malntalned at the a8reed le¥el throughout 2025 and the balance of
funds held In GBP and USD carefully mana8ed.
9. Dlrectors, Responslbllltles
Company law requires the directors to prepare financlal statements for each flnanclal perlod
whlch glve a true and fair view of the financial artivltles for that period together wlth the
assets and Ilabllltles at the end of the perlod and whlch adequatety dlstln8ulsh any materSal
speclal trust or other restrlcted fund of the company. In preparlng those financlal statements,
the dlrertors are requlred to:
a) select sultable accountln8 pollcles and then apply them conslstently.
b) make lud8ments and estlmates that are reasonable and prudent.
¢) state whether the pollcles adopted are In accordance wlth the approprlate SORP on
Accountln8 by Charltles the Accountln8 Re8ulatlons and wlth appllcable
accountin8 Standards subject to any materlal departures dlxlosed and explalned In
the finandal statements; and
d) prepare financlal statements on the '8oln8 concern, basls unless It Is Inapproprlate to
assume that the company wlll continue In Its actlvltles.
The dlrectors are responslble for keeplng proper accountln8 records whlch dlsclose wlth
reasonable accuracy at any tSme the flnandal posltlon of the company and to enable them to
ensure that the flnanclal statements comply wlth the Companles Art 2LK16 and Statements of
Recommended Practice and the re8ulatlons made under section 130 of the Charitles Act
2011.
They are also re4￿nsIble for ￿fe&￿ardIng the assets of the company and hence for taklng
re•50n•ble steps for the preventlon and detectlon of fraud and Irre8ularttles.

Al Massira Is mana8ed by the Intematbonal Leadershlp Team whlch comprlses at a mlnlmurn
the ChSef Executlve offi￿r. the Director of Operatlons. and the Translatlon. Tralnlng and New
Developments Dlrertors. Thls team develops the strate8lc plan which is then reviewed and
approved by the 8oard of Trustees.

Re8lonal Management of the organizatlon Is handled by appolnted Reglonal Coordlnators,
who serve the various global regions in whlch Al Massira is active, through provision of
trainin& development of programmin8 and input to new lan8ua8e projects.

Incorne to the trust comprlse5 recelpts from organlsers of Al Masslm traSnln8 events
throu8hout the world. donatlons from Indlvlduals and 8rants from grant-makers and
Churches. The trainln8 income recelpts include an element of sale of the resource to trainees,
often at a reduced prlce in areas where the ablllty to pay Is well below the level of the full
product prlce thar8ed In countrles wlth develowd eeonomles.
Sl8nfficant attentlon contlnues to be 8lven to carefvl budgetlng. All new lan8ua8e traftslatlon$
must flrst be backed by dear fundSn8 tommStments. New approaches to the presentstlon of
the work and needs of the tharlty and new donor management systems have been put In
place. Thus, the trustees have sought to raise the profile of Al Mosslm wlth Interested
supporters, b•cked by storles of the work that takes plxe around the world. Whllst the
trustees are grateful for contlnued Comrnltted fvndln8 enabllng the work to contlnue and
Brow, It Is reco8nlsed that the fundln8 envlronment remalns ¢hallen8ln8 and contlnued
8rowth requlres the nurturin8 of 8ood relatlonshlps with both large and small donors.

translation of new languages, development of a second video-based. rnultl-medla, Immersive

13. Team members
Most team members, indudln8 those based overseas, are treated by the kKal tax authorltles
as self-employed or volunteers. The exceptlons are a small number of part-tlme clerlcal staff
based at the prlndpal location. who are the onty employees.

The Trust contlnues to operate an aUt￿nrOlrnent penslon scheme for all ell8lble employees
based In the UK, as requlred by law and that scheme Ss well establlshed havlng now reathed
the full level of statutory contrfbutlons for employer and employees.
14. Re8lstered Offlce
The companVs re8lstered offlce contlnues at Its address In London and the Dlrertors are
satlsfied that thls locatlon Is advantageous for the Trust. A Slngle Alternatlve Inspectlon
Locatlon ISAILI Is operated and all Re8lstered Office documents are now held on a secure
cloud server.

Durin8 the year, the son of a trustee. Rachel Chafd, provided consultancy services to the
Journey Together projert from September 2025. Fees of £8,575 (2024: £nill were paid for
these services. The trustee was not involved In the decis•on to appoint the consultant or in
setting the terms of engagement. The trustees consider that the services were provlded on
