Working with Mansfield Town Developments Ltd, a Community Interest Company in Mansfield, we have established a purpose built recreational facility at Woburn Lane, Pleasley that is available to the Mansfield Community.
It incorporates a full 3G floodlight football pitch, three full sized football pitches and a mini pitch. In addition there are function rooms, class rooms, offices and a medical facility.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
The facility is available for hire by persons, groups and companies in the Mansfield and surrounding areas at an economic rate with discounts available.
The profits from the facility are invested into the Radford Foundation for further benefits to the community.
We have reached agreement with Mansfield Town Developments for either the lower of a share of Profits made or a Commission on Sales of the Facilities Hire to be paid into the Foundation.
Our vision is to create a safer, stronger community for the people of Mansfield and the surrounding areas, to improve the facilities available to youth programmes and to support the town’s drive, passion and fundamental commitment to economic and social growth.
