Activities

The charity operates in Leeds - mainly in the Oakwood area. Its original objective was to save the Oakwood clock which was in very poor condition. It succeeded in this objective in 2015. It will continue to ensure that the clock is maintained in a good state of repair and aims to facilitate further improvements to the surrounding area for the public benefit.

To Promote For The Benefit Of The Public In The Ward Of Roundhay, Metropolitan District Of Leeds The Conservation, Protection, Enhancement And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Of Oakwood.2. To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Conservation, Protection, Enhancement And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment.3. To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of The Ward Of Roundhay And The Neighbourhood Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents In Order To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation, Culture, Arts And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents And Promoting A Sense Of Involvement And Belonging.
