Governance and management

We are a group that volunteer time and expertise to provide educational training.

Committee members, trustees and volunteers are appointed by application to the committee.

Aims and objectives

To advance education by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education.

Summary of the main achievements during the period

We have been quite successful in recruiting volunteers to donate their time and provide a very high caliber of educational training. High Caliber students once qualified are invited to "give back" and volunteer to help new students with their studies. In turn this leads to a furthering of their skill set the gaining of assessors qualifications. This symbiotic giving and taking works for us, them and the students very well. We have granted ongoing bursaries to individuals who did not have the means to achieve their NVQ qualifications without the charities assistance.

The charity’s policy on reserves

We aim to hold reserves sufficient to pay expenditures and day to day costs.
