The Church MPleted ts 11th financlal year on 30 June 2024. It has suffered the loss of church members over the last few years due to bereavement, but we continue to have regular visltors to our servlces. Church financlal Income through glving and donations has been maintained, and Its trading subsldlary, Quench Café, our prlmary outreach initiative. continues to ffourish despite th6 challenges of hlgh Inflatlon and Increased operating costs and sales now exceed the pre-covid years. Sufficient Income was received over the year to cover the runnlng and maintenance of the church premises. Quench Café and to meet its chariiable Objectives. ii. The Church maSntsined a regular congregation of between 8-10 indlvlduals duriThJ the reportlng P8riod. It has also been able to malntaln financial support to a variety of local, national and intemational charities in accordance with its Objectlves and has continued to malntain positive relationships within the local community. 111. The Church sttll maintains a Food Bank collectlon point (whlch Is affiliated to the Warrington Trussell Trust) which is used by local families and also provide additional food resources back to the central Warrington Foodbank from its local collection network. The focwj bank is open to famllies to collect a thr88-d8y supply of emergency food rf they are in crlsls and have been issued with an voucher by a local partner (GP, Social Servlces. school Head Teachers etc.). Thls faalty has been used by famllles In the reporting period and the church conlinue8 to use its discretion to gift additional resources In some needy cases. iv. The Church has continued to offer and provlde a wide range of ongolng support to a range of local charities, individuals and families in crisis need through appropriate individuals within the Church and volunte8rs in Quench Café. The Café remains instrumgntsl In this process and retained tts role as 8 key focal point of contact and friend8hlp for those in the local community. Quench Café continues to be supported, not onty by church members. but also by a range of local vdunteers who hokl the same values of serving their local communlty v. The Church Continues its successful policy of offering volunteering opportunities, bolh to older persons artd also to younger community members. Indudlng Duk8 of Edinburgh Awar¢1 partt¢lpants, to gain work experfence and tralning withln the cafe and to und8rstand the b8nefits of serving thelr local communlty. vi.
