The cha' bec

The relief of those in need b rnning a Christian faith based drop in centre to proide meals, care and spport, in particlar bt not eclsiel for the homeless or others sffering loss, pain, addiction and abse.

The cha' a ace

Based in or Commnit Hb in the Bradford cit centre, e offer a safe and secre enironment to those in or commnit ho are most in need. We proide meals, clothing, phsical, health, emotional and pastoral care. In addition or Otreach spport, incldes otdoor actiities and eperiences, home and hospital isits. All or actiities are designed to improe the confidence and ellbeing of the most lnerable in or commnit.

Pbc beef aee

In setting or objecties and planning or actiities, the Trstees hae gien serios consideration to the Charit Commission's general gidance on pblic benefit and in particlar the help and spport of lnerable members of or commnit inclding the homeless, those ith life controlling isses, fallen on hard times, reqiring help ith mental illness or ith sbstance and alcohol dependencies.

Acheee ad eface

2023 has been a togh time for so man. The soaring cost of liing, high food and energ inflation, the shortage of accommodation and other dail life effecting isses has hit so man in so man as. Not least for or gests ho are some of the most lnerable or homeless ithin the Bradford and srronding districts.

When e first opened 13 ears ago, it as for a cople of hors on a Monda lnch time, ith a handfl of caring olnteers giing food, safe shelter, a kind ord and a listening ear to a fe doen gests. Since then, The Immanel Project has gron each ear and in 2023 e opened 5 das a eek, Monda to Frida ith gest nmbers increasing from arond 400 per eek in 2022 to oer 600 per eek b the end of the ear.

Dring the past ear or staff and olnteers hae contined to proide a first class serice. Or gests receie hot food, drinks and treats each da. Help ith clothing, hosehold, toiletries and other sefl prodcts from or store. Organising man interesting and sefl actiities to help gests ell-being, bild their selfesteem and confidence. We do a tremendos amont of ork regarding social isses, gie practical and pastoral spport from or epert team as ell as orking closel ith other Bradford based organisations.

Or aim as alas is to contine to sere and spport the homeless and lnerable members of or commnit. To be there for them at all times, no matter ho togh - and in man cases hen no one else is.

At the beginning of 2023, e ere thrilled to learn that the National Lotter had chosen to financiall spport The Immanel Project for another fie ears. This has boght great stabilit to the charit, bt more importantl to or gests in Bradford. The Immanel Project no emplos a fll time Operations Manager, for part time colleages ho are spported b a team of olnteers, hose focs is to etend or offering as e contine to meet the groing needs of or gests.

Faca ee

The net ependitre for the ear as 8,179, inclding net ependitre of 19,291 on nrestricted fnds and net receipts of 11,112 on restricted fnds.

At the time of signing these acconts, the trstees hae reassessed the charits abilit to contine for at least 12 months from the date that the acconts are approed and conclde that no material ncertainties eist that cast significant dobt on the charit's abilit to meet its liabilities as the fall de.
