As a charitable**<br>**organisation, the pre-school is run for the**<br>**benefit of the community, and all income**<br>**is reinvested into the setting to support**<br>**and enhance daily operations.**<br>**We are continually grateful for the**<br>**dedication and hard work of the team,**<br>**who make the setting a safe, educational,**<br>**and enjoyable place for the children.**<br>**During the last financial year, we were**<br>**delighted to receive funding to replace**<br>**the decking at the rear of the pre-school.**<br>**This improvement allows us to provide**<br>**safe outdoor play opportunities for**<br>**children in most weather conditions. In**<br>**addition, the pre-school garden was**<br>**jointly awarded the Goudhurst in Bloom**<br>**Commercial Garden Award, recognising**<br>**the care and quality of our outdoor**<br>**environment.**<br>**The pre-school continues to support**<br>**children with special educational needs**<br>**and/or disabilities (SEND) and works**<br>**closely with other agencies where**<br>**necessary to ensure the highest**<br>**standards of early years educational**<br>**support. All staff are committed to**<br>**continuous professional development in**|





**this area; however, we would like to give particular recognition to our SEND Lead for her outstanding dedication and hard work. This year, she was successful in securing an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for one of the children, an excellent achievement that will have a significant positive impact on the child’s wellbeing and development.** 

**The trustee team continue to support the work of the pre-school and we currently have 4 in the team.**

I report in respect of my examination of  the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
