**heels of its well-deserved Outstanding**
**OFSTED rating in 2023, the pre-school**
**receives a steady flow of enquiries with**

**of afternoon sessions available.**
**We are continually grateful for the**
**dedication and hard work of the team**
**who make the setting and safe,**
**educational and enjoyable place for the**
**children.**
**During the last financial year, we were**
**thrilled to receive a bespoke mud kitchen**
**made by an ex-parent which has now**
**been fully installed and is being enjoyed**
**by all the children. The pre school garden**
**and woods continued to be used to the**
**advantage of all the children. We are very**
**lucky to have such beautiful outside**
**facilities on the doorstep.**
**The pre-school supports children with**
**special educational needs and/or**
**disabilities (SEND) and engages with**
**other agencies where necessary in order**
**to facilitate the highest standards of early**
**years educational support. All staff are**
**committed to continuous professional**
**development in this area but we must**
**acknowledge the fantastic efforts our**
**SEND link for her hard work.**
**During the year we have welcomed some**
**new trustees and currently have two**
**more pending DBS checks.**|

**Report to the trustees** Charity Name GOUDHURST VILLAGE PRE-SCHOOL **On accounts for the year** 31/03/2024 **Charity no** 1152404 **ended (if any) Set out on pages** 1 of 1 (remember to include the page numbers of additional sheets) I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **31/03/2024** . **Responsibilities and** As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
**Independent** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
- the accounts did not accord with those records.
