Tony intends to be at Oxford Road soon and to keep up the good work. Roger thanked Tony for his continued support.
Bob Spoke’s Building update
The steel frame for the build is up and painted with help from some group volunteers. A logistical problem of moving stone to site has resulted in no complaints as yet!
Bob is working on donations of materials, the order for the roof has gone in, but delayed by 12 weeks due to the pandemic. The drawings for the roof came in, were checked and sent back with no problems. The steels have been delivered and block work will start.
Unfortunately, the lottery grant was unsuccessful.
A £3000 grant has come in from Shanley, £500 from Tesco, more due in through fundraising at the half marathon and company pledges to match funds raised. Cathy Moore is running the half
